Sano Vita has three times more sales since implementing a software pack unique in Romania. Also, the local vegetarian food products distributor noticed many benefits of the automation of its business: increased employee productivity, the lowering of order processing and shipping times and complete control over the business.
Sano Vita, one of the most important players on the vegetarian food products market in Romania, tripled its online sales after investing in a business operations automation and management software pack. The distributor has chosen Senior Software’s suites, out of the need for scalable software, which can be customized based on the company’s specifications.
Thus, Sano Vita uses a software pack unique in Romania, formed out the following suites:
- E-commerce – for online sales
- SeniorERP – for resource management
- SeniorVisualBI – for data analysis
- SeniorWMS – for warehouse management
- SFA – for sales agents management
E-commerce and ERP – Increased sales, traceability and full control
“With E-commerce, sales in the online area have tripled, because we have a better showing on the market and various promotion ways. Presently, we have orders from all over the country, a tighter link with our customers and data which is transmitted without errors. Shopping cart history is automatically saved, and if an order is not finalized, the client is reminded after a time. Also, we can give recommendations per their preferences, based off their order history”
declared Adrian Buica, IT Manager for Sano Vita.
With the SeniorERP suite, Sano Vita gained complete traceability, starting with the order placed by the client and until product shipping. At the same time, the system allowed the efficient management of human resources. “The ERP System helps us see exactly what everyone is doing, which allows us to stimulate employee productivity, thus giving us very good control over the work force”, completed Sano Vita’s representative.
WMS – simplified picking, intelligent storage and quick training for employees
In regards to the increase of visibility, control over business activities and employee productivity, the WMS system for warehouse management also contributed. Thanks to the automation of operations and the monitoring of warehouse processes, human errors from the storage area have been considerably lowered, and the number of orders processed daily has increased. Thus, all clients receive exactly what they’ve ordered, in the shortest amount of time.
Product shelf placement after multiple criteria and regrouping by different categories also helped with lowering work times and optimizing picking routes.
“With SeniorWMS, even a new employee can find the needed products, because the article’s location and the fastest route to it are shown to him on a mobile terminal. Before, it took a couple of weeks to learn routes and each product’s location, now it takes 1-2 days maximum to get used to the system. It is very easy to train a new employee. Also, with the system’s help we always know which employee does what, how much and which products are shipped, but also the hour and minute at which orders were prepared”,
specified Adrian Buica.
BI, SFA – Business strategies based on correct reports and analyses
The implementation of SeniorVisualBI lead to the improvement of the company’s decisional process, thanks to the reports based on correct and relevant data that is obtained in a very short amount of time. Based on analyses linked to the geographic spread of sales, Sano Vita discovered how and in which areas to allocate resources.
More so, with the SFA suite, the distributor was able to find out up to what degree each sales agent is burdened. Also, the information gathered by using this suite helped Sano Vita’s managers to develop new marketing strategies and to apply the right business measures (increasing the work force, relocating sales agents, etc).
