The Romanian producer of cold cuts and meat products integrated its production, stock, and distribution processes with the help of SeniorERP and MES solutions implemented by Senior Software.
To meet these requirements, the company implemented SeniorERP for resource and commercial operations management, and MES for digitalizing and monitoring production activities, within an integrated architecture adapted to its operational specifics. SeniorERP provides real-time visibility over stock, sales, transactions, and procurement requirements, while MES tracks factory stages and supports the automatic collection of production data.

In APS, we can see the number of available orders and can adjust production capacity, increase it, or reduce the number of shifts. The Gantt chart gives us a ‘helicopter view’ of production, which is a very useful feature.
With the help of the MES system, the company can monitor production stages in real time, from raw material reception to finished product packaging. The integration with scales and the packaging line, as well as the unified batch allocation for each half-carcass, contributes to automated data collection, reduced manual operations, and increased factory efficiency. At the same time, the integration between MES and ERP gives management a complete perspective over operations, connecting production information with stock management and commercial data.
MES gives us real-time visibility over consumption, batches, and production movements, significantly reducing the risk of error. In addition, the integration with factory equipment and the ERP system helps us react quickly, including in audit or recall situations.
